Chas Jones

Project Manager

Chas Jones brings more than 20 years of construction and capital delivery experience to Buffalo Construction, with a career built around solving complex challenges, leading high-performing teams, and keeping large-scale projects moving forward. As a Project Manager, Chas combines deep expertise in water and wastewater infrastructure, industrial construction, and progressive design-build delivery with a leadership style that’s equal parts strategic thinker and get-it-done mentality. From managing live municipal treatment facility upgrades to leading high-risk infrastructure scopes and MEP-intensive projects, he thrives in fast-paced environments where collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving are key.

Before joining Buffalo, Chas has led major capital programs across industrial, infrastructure, and municipal markets, building a reputation for driving results while navigating highly technical and operationally sensitive environments. Whether he’s coordinating executive-level stakeholder updates, managing commissioning activities, or finding creative solutions to keep projects on track, Chas brings the kind of forward-thinking energy that fits right in with Buffalo’s commitment to continuous improvement and building relationships where both people and projects thrive. Around here, we’d say he’s the kind of guy who doesn’t just think outside the box — he probably redesigned the box entirely.

Outside of work, Chas proudly calls Salvisa, Kentucky home — a town so small its population barely cracked 410 people in 2020. He’s a dedicated Kentucky Wildcats fan, dreams of one day heading west for an elk hunt in Colorado or Montana, and firmly believes cookies & cream ice cream is the ultimate late-night snack. And with his competitive spirit and bold approach to leadership, it’s safe to say Chas brings just as much energy to the jobsite as he does to cheering on the Cats during basketball season.
