Jamie Kabalen didn’t start in construction—his career began in healthcare, selling and delivering medical equipment to hospice patients. But after his company was bought out, Jamie pivoted. He picked up tools, learned on the job, and built a thriving remodeling business from the ground up—bathrooms, basements, even full-home additions. For nearly a decade, he wore every hat: roofer, concrete finisher, manager, marketer. Then came COVID. Business shifted, hours grew long, and Jamie made another leap—this time to Louisville, trading his 70-hour weeks for a chance to work smarter, not just harder. When teammate Cory Zilisch told him about Buffalo, Jamie reached out. One conversation led to another, and he officially joined the Herd as a Buffalo Builder's Crew Leader in December 2024.

Now, Jamie’s leading Buffalo Builder projects with the same hands-on heart that’s fueled every step of his journey. He credits his growth to a reputation built on hard work, a commitment to doing things the right way, and a constant curiosity to learn more. Always keep learning. And with the depth of knowledge he brings—from running his own business to mastering nearly every trade—Jamie quickly became an invaluable asset to Buffalo and the Buffalo Builders.
