Kyle Ashley
Project Engineer
Kyle Ashley brings more than 20 years of construction and leadership experience to Buffalo Construction, including an impressive career serving with the United States Army and Army Corps of Engineers. Throughout his military career, Kyle managed projects ranging from small-scale facility work to multi-million-dollar developments, including family housing, parking structures, recycling facilities, and operational support buildings across the U.S. and overseas. With experience in project management, field leadership, scheduling, safety compliance, and team development, Kyle brings a disciplined, solutions-focused mindset to every project he touches.
Known for his collaborative leadership style and strong attention to detail, Kyle thrives in fast-paced environments where teamwork and communication matter just as much as execution. His background leading crews, managing complex projects, and training future builders has made him a dependable resource for both teammates and trade partners alike. At Buffalo, Kyle’s people-first mentality and “get it done the right way” attitude fit right in with our commitment to building relationships where both people and projects thrive.
Outside of work, Kyle is proudly from Dayton, Tennessee — which also happens to be home to the first-ever NFL game played back in 1920. He’s a loyal Detroit sports fan across the board (Lions, Tigers, Pistons, and Red Wings), spends his free time playing softball, fishing, and cooking, and may or may not be known for a pretty legendary seafood boil. And if you ever spot a box of Zebra Cakes around the office… there’s a good chance Kyle got there first.
